Pet Urgent Care (PUC) is the first Emergency-Only independent veterinary hospital serving Utah Valley and its surrounding areas. Located at 428 West 800 North in Orem, this brand-new facility is centrally located in Utah Valley, and is easily accessed, less than ½ mile from the I-15 Orem 800 North exit.

Pet Urgent Care provides after-hours, weekend, and holiday emergency services, after-hours transfers, and 24-hour critical care monitoring over weekends and holidays. We are open and fully staffed from 6:00 PM until 8:00 AM during weeknights and throughout the entire weekends from Friday at 6:00 PM until Monday at 8:00 AM, and all holidays. This allows us to offer our clients the assurance that every pet can receive the quality care they deserve, regardless of the time of day, night, weekend, or holiday. We hope that by offering this service, we can raise the standard of animal emergency and critical care in our community and save our clients the worry and hassle of traveling outside of Utah Valley for the emergency care their pets need.

Pet Urgent Care provides only emergency and critical care monitoring and is considered a referral hospital. Patients needing 24 hour monitoring from local veterinary facilities can also be transferred for overnight care. All stable patients are transferred back to the referring veterinarian during regular business hours with accompanying medical records and diagnostics. Pet Urgent Care provides the latest in diagnostics, including in-house CBC, Serum Chemistry, Radiology, monitoring equipment, oxygen therapy, etc. Any non-critical patients will be transferred back to the referring veterinarian as soon as possible after treatment. All clients are expected to return to their regular veterinarian for any follow-up treatment and recheck appointments.
